Wage Negotiable based on Experience
We are seeking to hire a General Laborer to join our team at Mike Geric Construction Ltd. The candidate will perform tasks involving physical labor at construction site. The candidate will be working for the developer and assist all contracted trades.
Duties & Responsibilities
General Laborer’s responsibilities include:
- Assist other workers in completing their tasks
- Clean, sweep, and prepare construction site
- Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, or other temporary structures.
- Assist in digging and trenching as required
- Carry heavy building materials, distributing them to appropriate locations on site
- Other tasks may be assigned as required
Qualifications
- Available to work from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm daily
- Must be in good physical condition
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must have strong communication skills
- Willing to work in various weather conditions
- Team player with ability to work alongside site leaders
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Committed to safety at all times
- Some experience required

We are seeking to hire an Assistant Site Superintendent to join our team at Mike Geric Construction Ltd. The candidate will perform tasks involving physical labor at construction site as well as supervisory roles as needed. The candidate will be working for the developer and assist all contracted trades.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist other workers in completing their tasks
• Clean, sweep, and prepare construction site
• Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, or other temporary structures.
• Assist in digging and trenching as required
• Carry heavy building materials, distributing them to appropriate locations on site
• Other tasks may be assigned as required
• Quality Control of all construction
• Adheres to building code and safety requirements on all sites.
• Performing touch ups and repairs on deficiencies left by the trades
• Carpentry work that falls outside the scope of the trades
• Other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of carpentry experience in residential construction
• In progress or completed Red Seal Certification in carpentry is preferred
• Knowledge of building code and safety code requirements
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic
• Hands on management skills
• High School Diploma
• Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record
*Ability to operate heavy equipment (bobcat, crane, etc.) advantageous We are looking for an ambitious team player, who learns quickly, has a passion for construction, is punctual, loyal, and believes in a “job well done”.

The Mike Geric Construction crew has been hard at work completing the roof at Travino Square – and they’ve done it! We’re very excited to have the building sealed up and watertight in anticipation of the upcoming winter weather. Travino Square has such a beautiful roof line and spectacular views too!
Next we’re working away on completion of the siding and exterior finishing that will transform the outside of this signature building at Travino. Things are also taking shape inside Travino Square as the installation of insulation and drywall begins.

Busy times at Travino!
Crews are working steadily on the roof of Travino Square while down below the windows, plumbing, and electrical are being installed. We can’t say enough about the gorgeous views from the decks and rooftop patio at Travino Square, our new homeowners certainly have something special coming their way!
Work continues on the underground layer of Travino Landing, this building is really starting to take shape so stay tuned for more updates!

We’ve had an incredible response to our newest phase! Travino Landing is already 72% sold and construction is now underway. Our construction team has completed excavation and are currently working on the underground parking.
Progress for Travino Square (phase 2) continues, the 6th floor is almost complete. Our team has begun prepping for windows and interior walls and the first stages of installation for our advanced soundproofing have begun.
