Construction Update – Week of April 8th
Our team has been busy! Travino Gardens is now fully enclosed and finishing on the interior and exterior of the building is steaming ahead. In the second half of the building, drywall has been completed on the 6th floor and will soon start on the 5th as our crew works their way down the building floors in stages. They will be ready to begin painting and tile finishing by the end of April. Tubs and showers for the spa-like bathrooms throughout the building have been installed and appliances will arrive on site in early May.
Outside, the solar panels for the central hot water system and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) heating and cooling units will be craned onto the roof at Travino Gardens this week. These technologies will provide residents with comfortable temperatures at all times of the year and on-demand hot water with limited energy use and low utility costs.
At The Reeve on Viewmont Avenue, the whole of phase one is now under construction in various stages and site servicing will soon begin. The first block of four townhomes has had roofing and an innovative exterior vapour barrier installation completed. Solar panels, windows and rough-in installations are also underway. We are very excited to be moving closer to the completion of these homes, including our future show home – coming soon!
The rest of phase one is moving along with framing and foundation work continuing. Stay tuned for news of phase 2 new home releases and construction start summer 2019.
